Ancora Mirror

Ancora is a rolled mirror that captures light in its metal curves and then diffuses it onto the reflective surface, bringing a modern reinterpretation of sculptural light into domestic spaces. Contemporary and timeless, this wall mirror deviates from pure geometry, tying itself to recent studies by Umberto Bellardi Ricci on the spiral of the golden ratio. In designing Ancora, from the very first piece of bent metal, the designer experiments with forms and reflections to capture and refract the light as if it were emanating from the curves of a spiral, while the light source remains embedded in the initial fold.
