An Offering

Cyanotype print on hot press watercolor paper. Size: 4" x 8" (10.16cm x 20.32cm) Features: Each print is individually handcrafted and will vary slightly. The pictures closely match the deep blue color of the print. About: The image of the boy in this collage is from Smithsonian's Open Access content: Wixarika (Huichol) boy holding bull horns. The source is the National Museum of the American Indian. Inspiration: I feel a strong pull to learn more about this part of my ancestry, an ancestry that has been largely lost in my family due to colonialism, immigration, globalization, and other related factors. I often wonder what ancestors still live inside me; I often wonder what it is they want me to remember.
