Amy Payson Model Plans & Instructions

Be sure to select PRINT or DIGITAL when you order. Based on a 29' working Friendship sloop, this 3'7" (length on deck) model behaves like a true sailing vessel. With her tiller wedged in place and her sheets properly trimmed, she beats into the wind, reaches, runs downwind can even tack if her hollowed out hull (built by the lift method) is fitted with a radio control mechanism. You'll receive 9 pages of plans and patterns. In addition to the plans, there's a 16 page booklet of the illustrated step-by-step instructions, including how to make a mold for a ballast keel, and cast the lead using simple containers and techniques. And, there's a "getting underway" section written by Iain Oughtred... when he was staying with us many years ago.  ———————————————————— “Your downloads are ready” will be the subject line of an email you’ll receive from us—once we’ve processed your digital order. That email has the link to click, so you can then download the file. This isn't an "instant" process, so if we're asleep, you may need to wait for regular business hours for us to process the order. Although we are quite timely, we may not be processing on weekends & holidays.
