AMSEC CE1814 AMVAULT TL-15 Fire Rated Composite Safe | 2 Hour Fire Rating | 1.8 Cubic Feet The AMSEC CE1814 AmVault TL-15 Fire Rated Composite Safe is the starting point in AMSEC's most secure product line, purpose-built for businesses and institutions that require verifiable, UL-certified burglary and fire protection in a compact footprint. During rigorous UL testing, the AmVault composite safes withstood sustained attacks by experienced UL experts using sledgehammers, power saws, carbide disc cutters, drills, and combinations of the most powerful tools available, and still earned the UL TL-15 label. The CE1814 features a 5-3/4" door constructed with a 2-3/4" defense barrier of outer and inner steel plates enclosing a proprietary high-density composite material made with nuggets and steel fibers engineered to resist concentrated attack. The formed body adds 3-1/2" of total protective thickness housing the same composite material. Six massive 1-1/2" chrome plated solid steel locking bolts are controlled by a spring-operated detent system that keeps bolts retracted while the door is open and automatically engages them when it closes. A full-door hardplate, two spring-loaded relock devices, and a reinforced drill-resistant door frame complete the security package. The 2-hour 350°F factory fire rating has been tested at temperatures up to 1,850°F. Anchor holes and a 1/2" anchor bolt kit are included as standard equipment. Features Burglary Protection UL TL-15 Burglary Rating: Successfully resists entry for a net working time of 15 minutes against common hand tools, picking tools, mechanical or portable electric tools, grinding points, carbide drills, and pressure-applying devices. 5-3/4" door construction: A 2-3/4" defense barrier of outer and inner steel plates encloses a proprietary high-density composite material with nuggets and steel fibers to defeat concentrated tool attack. 3-1/2" body thickness: Formed body encloses the same composite material; a reinforced drill-resistant door frame protects the door and each individual bolt chamber from severe side attacks. Six 1-1/2" locking bolts: Six massive chrome plated solid steel locking bolts driven by a spring-operated bolt work detent system. Auto-engage bolt work: Bolts stay retracted when the door is open and automatically engage when the door is closed. Full-door hardplate: Massive solid steel hardplate covers the entire door to defeat drill attacks on the lock and relock mechanism. Two spring-loaded relock devices: Secondary locking devices provide additional protection if the primary lock is attacked or compromised. Proprietary inner barrier: Protects against peeling attacks from the inside edge of the door. Fire Protection 2-Hour fire rating: Factory fire test certification at 350°F interior, tested at ambient temperatures up to 1,850°F. High-density composite material: Fire-resistant composite material fills both door and body construction for dual fire and burglary resistance.
