ADAM Audio T5V 5 inch Powered Studio Monitor -NEW In brief: Active Vertical 2-way Nearfield Monitor with 50W 5" Woofer and 20W U-ART Accelerated-ribbon Tweeter (each) The T5V is a junior partner in ADAM Audio's T Series, offering professional 2-way active studio monitors at an affordable price. It features a 5" polypropylene low-frequency driver for bass extension down to 45Hz, and an U-ART accelerated-ribbon tweeter for pristine highs extended up to 25kHz, delivering remarkable performance for its price range. The T5V's beveled cabinet includes a rear-firing bass reflex port and houses analog input connections, DSP-controlled driver crossovers, and equalization. With a combination of a 50W Class D woofer amplifier and a 20W Class D tweeter amp, a pair of T5Vs can achieve a maximum SPL of 106dB at one meter. Its extended frequency response, dynamic range, transient response, broad sweet spot, and compact design make it ideal for small control rooms in music production, video post, and broadcast applications. The T5V's drivers are meticulously engineered for optimized low-frequency reproduction and minimal coloration, while the U-ART tweeter provides ultra-low distortion and detailed sound reproduction. ADAM Audio's commitment to R&D and proprietary driver technology, such as the X-ART tweeter, has solidified its reputation for transparent, high-definition sound.
