AMS Performance Charge Pipe 2022+ WRX

The AMS Performance 2022+ Subaru WRX Charge Pipe is designed to maximize airflow and horsepower by replacing the restrictive OEM plastic piping with a full 2.5” high-flow charge air pathway, reducing restriction by 43% and increasing airflow by 25%. Precision-engineered with CNC-machined 6061 T6 billet aluminum and an optimized cast intercooler inlet bell mouth, the AMS Charge Pipe enhances throttle response and efficiency while providing increased durability over stock. Featuring a TMIC connection flange that has been enlarged by 13% for improved airflow, an AMS QuickClamp™ system for a secure, hassle-free installation, and OEM-style fitment for seamless integration, this charge pipe ensures both reliability and performance. Unlike the OEM plastic charge pipe that can deteriorate over time or crack under high boost, the AMS Charge Pipe is built to withstand extreme conditions, making it an essential upgrade for enthusiasts pushing their WRX to the next level. Whether you’re looking to improve drivability, increase reliability, or maximize your vehicle’s power potential, the AMS Charge Pipe delivers the results you need with race-proven engineering and superior craftsmanship. Best Performing Charge Pipe on the Market Complete 2.5″ Charge Air Pipe from Turbo to Intercooler 43% Reduction in Restriction and 25% Increase in Flow over OEM Added airflow means more horsepower capability TMIC Connection Flange Enlarged by 13% (Optional OEM size adapter available) Replaces Potential Failure Point OEM Plastic Pipes CNC Machined 6061 T6 Billet Aluminum Compressor Outlet Adapter OEM Style Fitment Features for Secure Mounting Utilizes an AMS QuickClamp™ for a Simple Plug and Play Installation Optimized Cast Intercooler Inlet Bell Mouth to Promote Excellent Airflow Designed with CAD software for Ultimate Performance and Fitment Proven Performance Through Design Validation Testing Throughout our comprehensive flow bench testing, we conducted a flow sweep, running the flow bench from minimum to maximum airflow capacity to measure true mass airflow — the most accurate representation of what an engine actually sees. Unlike traditional CFM-based testing, our method ensures real-world relevance. During this testing, we compared the AMS Performance WRX Charge Pipe against the restrictive OEM piping and five leading aftermarket competitors. Using a standardized flow bench comparison point simulating 300 HP worth of airflow, the AMS Charge Pipe outperformed every other option, demonstrating the least restriction and highest flow capacity. Shockingly, one competitor’s charge pipe proved to be more restrictive than the OEM setup, reinforcing the importance of proper engineering in airflow optimization. With superior design and precision manufacturing, the AMS Charge Pipe ensures your WRX gets the maximum airflow needed for peak performance and efficiency. No other charge pipe on the market comes close to matching the AMS Charge Pipe’s combination of superior flow, minimal restriction, and flawless fitment, making it the undisputed choice for WRX owners looking for the best performance upgrade available. Precision Engineering Creates Superior Design The AMS SnailWorks® Engineering Team applied their extensive expertise to develop the best-performing charge pipe for the 2022+ Subaru WRX, ensuring maximum airflow and seamless fitment. Utilizing SolidWorks® 3D CAD software, our engineers meticulously designed the charge pipe to eliminate restrictions and optimize air delivery to the FA24 engine. Every aspect of the charge pipe, from the CNC-machined 6061 T6 billet aluminum compressor outlet adapter to the optimized cast intercooler inlet bell mouth, was engineered for superior performance and horsepower capability. To further improve airflow into the intercooler, we increased the TMIC-to-charge pipe flange opening area by 13%, allowing for smoother and more efficient air delivery. Unlike the flimsy OEM plastic charge pipe, which has irregular shapes that disrupt airflow and can crack under high boost, the AMS Charge Pipe features a full 2.5” mandrel-bent aluminum design with smooth, turbulence-free transitions. Our engineers also incorporated OEM-style mounting features for a secure fit and developed the AMS QuickClamp™ system to ensure a simple, hassle-free installation. With hours of R&D, flow bench testing, and real-world validation, the AMS Performance 2022+ Subaru WRX Charge Pipe stands as the ultimate upgrade for WRX owners looking for unmatched engineering, reliability, and performance. Product Notes OEM TMIC Fitment option includes adapter to reduce the size of the inlet back to OEM. This improves airflow as it enters the smaller OEM TMIC inlet port. AMS or Aftermarket TMIC Fitment option does not include adapter. While we cannot guarantee fitment for all brands of aftermarket TMIC, most popular options should be compatible.
