Amrut Two Continents

Discover the extraordinary Amrut Two Continents Single Malt Whisky—a rare Indian whisky that embarks on a unique maturation journey across two continents. Crafted from select Indian barley grown at the foothills of the Himalayas and distilled in small batches, this limited-edition spirit first matures under the intense tropical climate of Bangalore before crossing oceans to age further in Europe’s gentler, cooler conditions. The result is a single malt bursting with exotic aromas of charred pineapple, banana peel, and kiwi, followed by decadent notes of coconut sugar and crème brûlée on the palate, with a medium-long, rounded finish. Bottled at 46% ABV and produced in very limited quantities, Amrut Two Continents delivers a sophisticated fusion of tropical and matured flavors, making it a coveted choice for discerning whisky enthusiasts and collectors alike. Process & Profile Amrut Two Continents is made from select Indian barley grown at the foothills of the Himalayas, carefully mashed and distilled in small batches at the Amrut distillery in South India. The whisky begins its maturation in India’s intense climate, spending about four years developing concentrated flavors. The casks are then shipped to an undisclosed location in Europe, where the whisky matures further—typically six more years—in a gentler, cooler environment, for a total age of around ten years. This two-continent aging process allows the whisky to develop both bold tropical character and refined balance. The 4th Edition is matured in ex-bourbon casks, some of which previously held peated whisky, imparting subtle smoky undertones despite the unpeated distillate.
