AMP Research PowerStep Override Switch

The AMP Research® PowerStep™ is designed to deploy and retract automatically — but what if you need manual control? The PowerStep™ Override Switch gives you exactly that. This sleek, flush-mount 3-position toggle switch mounts cleanly to your dash, center console, or any convenient surface, putting full step control right at your fingertips. The switch features three positions — retract, automatic, and deploy — letting you manually retract or deploy your running boards with a simple push. Leave it in the center position and your PowerStep™ continues operating automatically as designed. Whether you need to lock the steps retracted for off-road use or deploy them for cleaning and servicing, the Override Switch makes it effortless. Installation is equally straightforward. An included Plug-N-Play wiring harness integrates directly into your existing PowerStep™ wiring with no splicing required. Physically mounting the switch is just as simple — mark your preferred location, drill the appropriate hole, and snap it into place. If you're running a newer truck and want to skip the switch altogether, the PowerStep™ Vision offers full app-based control as an upgrade option. Like all PowerStep™ products, the Override Switch is backed by an industry-leading 5-year limited warranty.
