Amouage Lustre Eau De Parfum

Amouage Lustre Eau De Parfum is a luminous woody floral musk unisex fragrance launched in 2024 as part of the exclusive Amouage Essences Collection. Created by master perfumers Julien Rasquinet and Paul Guerlain, this extraordinary scent represents the pinnacle of olfactory artisanship a poetic expression of the desire to make the present last until the end of time. Fragrance Profile: Lustre begins with a spark a burst of effervescent cardamom that fills the air with spicy vitality. The illumination is extended and softened by orris, a uniquely powdery material that adds a sheen of luxurious romanticism, causing the composition to glow with rich elegance. The white creaminess of the orris is furthered by sandalwood, cedarwood, and patchouli in the heart, whose smooth, woody personality projects a sense of perpetual seamlessness. At the scent's conclusion, a delectable vanilla embraces the whole with warm, lingering sophistication, supported by an opulent resinous base of myrrh, benzoin, labdanum, ambrarome, styrax, cypriol, and tonka bean. Fragrance Notes: Top Notes: Cardamom, Orris. Heart Notes: Sandalwood, Cedarwood, Patchouli. Base Notes: Myrrh, Benzoin, Ambrarome, Styrax, Labdanum, Vanilla, Cypriol, Tonka Bean. Why You'll Love It: Lustre is a fragrance of remarkable depth and transformation. The opening presents a resinous, warm, and woody character with dense balsamic myrrh and cypriol creating an almost oud-like, animalic edge dark, textured, and substantial. As it evolves, the dry-down shifts into a smoother, creamier, and more polished experience where sandalwood and benzoin introduce velvety warmth, while orris overlays everything with sophisticated powdery softness. This dramatic evolution from shadowed intensity to glowing refinement is what gives Lustre its name  the true lustre revealed after the darkness settles. With 30% pure perfume oil concentration and a meticulous six-month aging process including double infusion with sandalwood chips and oakwood barrels, Lustre delivers exceptional performance: very strong projection that fills a room, a dense scent trail, and impressive longevity lasting 12+ hours before fading into a beautiful skin scent.
