Amouage Jubilation 40

Amouage | Jubilation 40 Man | Extrait de Parfum Jubilation 40 Man is an extraordinary, ultra-luxurious fragrance released by the high-prestige Omani house of Amouage to celebrate its 40th anniversary. Composed by perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour, the legendary nose behind the original 2008 Jubilation XXV, this exceptional anniversary edition reinterprets the brand's DNA at a staggering 40% fragrance oil concentration. Rather than simply turning up the volume with modern aroma-chemicals, Duchaufour subjected the extract to a meticulous 10-week aging process (comprising 3 weeks of maceration and 7 weeks of maturation). This patience gives the juice a vintage-like smoothness, smoothing out any sharp edges to reveal a deeply complex, majestic narrative. It opens with an opulent, mouthwatering canopy of rich, boozy blackberry, blackcurrant, and a bright, sophisticated splash of davana and rosemary. It transitions smoothly into a highly textured, regal heart where dense honey, sweet cinnamon, and clove are balanced by clean frankincense, celery seed, and a delicate floral touch of rose. The composition then anchors itself on an exceptionally smooth, deeply magnetic baseline of precious woods, labdanum, earthy patchouli, myrrh, and a warm, skin-like ambergris, capturing the essence of old-world luxury.
