Ammonites were marine invertebrates that lived in the seas during the Paleozoic and Mesozoic eras. They became extinct at the end of the Cretaceous period, around the same time as the dinosaurs. During their fossilization process, sometimes their shells can opaline, giving them rainbow flashes. These fossils are set in white copper and come with an 18 inch stainless steel chain. There are multiple of these pendants available so their color and size will vary.
