Amish Yard 5' Legacy Glider

The Porch Glider That Thought of EverythingA great porch glider seats two people comfortably and moves beautifully. The Amish Yard 5' Legacy Glider does all of that — and then goes further. The center console folds down with one hand, locks securely in place with stainless spring-loaded hardware when not in use, and when it's down, it rests at the exact same height as the outside armrests. Not higher. Not lower. Flush. It becomes a true third armrest, not an awkward middle shelf. It's the kind of detail that sounds simple until you've sat in every other glider on the market and realized no one else has gotten it quite right. This is the glider for two. The porch conversations that go longer than planned. The evenings where you don't want to get up for anything. Built with the same obsessive attention to quality that defines every piece in the Amish Yard Collection, and backed by a 25-year warranty that proves we mean it. What Makes This Glider Different Flush-Level Fold-Down Center Console: When folded down, the center console sits at the exact same height as the outside armrests — a design detail we haven't seen on any other glider. It functions as a true armrest, a drink holder, or a shared surface, not an afterthought. One-Hand Operation: The console folds down and back up with a single hand. Stainless spring-loaded hardware locks it securely in place when not in use, so it stays exactly where you put it. Stainless Hardware on the Console Mechanism: Built from stainless steel for long-term reliability in any outdoor environment. The part that moves most is the part we built to last longest. Custom-Built Glider Brackets: Designed and built in-house for the Amish Yard Collection. Engineered for a longer arc and smoother, quieter gliding motion — the result of 20 years of knowing exactly what a great glide should feel like. Tangent Poly Lumber: The same premium HDPE material trusted by the top brands in the outdoor furniture industry. Fade-proof, crack-proof, rot-proof, and built to perform in every climate without a single coat of paint or sealant. Exceptionally Smooth Finish: Every surface is finished to an exacting standard — smooth edges, refined slats, and craftsmanship that reflects our obsession with quality in every detail. Premium Fasteners Throughout: The best hardware on the market holds every joint solid. No rust, no loosening, no squeaking season after season. Seats Two Adults Comfortably: Five feet of gliding comfort with generous seat depth, a supportive backrest, and wide armrests on each end. 25-Year Residential Warranty: One of the strongest warranties in the outdoor furniture industry, because this glider is built to last that long. Zero Maintenance Required: Leave it on the porch year-round. No painting, staining, sealing, or covering needed. A Curated Selection of the Most Popular Colors: Choose the color that fits your porch perfectly. Leave Something Worth KeepingThe Legacy name isn't just a label. It's a promise.
