Amethyst Gua Sha

Take your skincare routine to the next level. We chose amethyst for its “healing powers” as it is believed to aid in alleviating headaches, insomnia and anger… and its also one of the healing crystals for the crown chakra which is in charge of aligning ourselves with universal energy… and we all want that, right? Gua Sha (pronounced gwa saa) is a friction scraping technique applied on the skin. The term Gua Sha literally means scraping the disease to the surface. This is a Chinese medicine technique. It is used in beauty treatments to deeply nourish the skin by allowing the circulation of nutrients to its cells. It is also a great way to stimulate the surface of the skin. It prevents skin dryness by enabling the skin to redistribute moisture, thus improving skin respiration. As we age, we tend to lose the ability to hydrate the outer layers of our skin effectively, but this technique creates an adjustment. Works great with any of our beauty oils.
