Amethyst

Amethyst by Krista Augius reveals a landscape that feels both earthly and celestial - a crystalline realm sculpted from light and intuition. The canvas radiates with tonal harmonies of violet, lilac, and silvery white, evoking the sacred geometry of natural formations. Layers of translucent pigment build a sense of depth and vibration, as if the air itself has become mineral, resonating with quiet energy. The viewer is invited to enter a world where form is fluid, and solidity hums with spirit. Augius paints with a reverence for transformation. Her brushwork moves between sharp edges and dissolving gradients, mirroring the way energy crystallizes and disperses in cycles of creation. Amidst the geometry, a faint prism of color appears - a pulse of iridescence, a whisper of divine balance. The eye drifts across the surface, tracing a rhythm that feels both meditative and alive. Each plane of lavender light opens toward something unseen, something infinitely expanding beyond the frame. In Amethyst, Krista Augius explores the subtle frontier between matter and aura. The work transcends depiction to become vibration - a visual meditation on purity, clarity, and awakening. Like the gemstone itself, the painting embodies serenity and power in equal measure, offering the viewer not just an image to behold, but an atmosphere to dwell within. It is a sanctuary of color - a quiet invocation of stillness that glows from within.
