In some places, it is the ebb and flow towards the end of winter and in the Roman calendar, the month of February came from the Latin word to cleanse. This links it beautifully to the February birthstone of Amethyst -  a gem known for its calm mind, clear decision-making, and for keeping negative energy flushed from your system. Even in the physical sense, Amethyst cuts through migraines and gives your immune system a boost so that you feel cleansed and level and ready to face the world without fear. Amethyst jewelry glimmers with third eye wisdom and crown chakra cleansing. This regal wine colored stone is laced with spirituality and is ever ready to extend its hand and help you make the leap. By opening the third eye it invites you to tap into your intuition and by activating the crown, it helps you to form a bridge to higher plains so you can see the bigger universal picture.  February is also home to the zodiac signs of Aquarius and Pisces. Aquarians are known for being hyper-intelligent, optimistic, and forever attached to the ideas of independence. Amethyst can help them to balance and encourages them to take all that glorious energy they have and transmute consciousness from it. Pisceans are known for being sensitive souls and Amethyst keeps them peaceful and soaked in a Zen-like strength.  Details 10mm Heart Shaped Genuine Faceted Amethyst Gemstone Chain 18" long with 1.5" Extender Necklace Made of .925 Sterling Silver or 14K Gold Plated Brass Month Engraved on Tag
