American Mined, Natural Rodeo Queen Ruby, Opaque loose stone, July Birthstone, Mined and Cut in the USA

Guaranteed lowest price and Best Quality. If another seller has a lower price, we will beat it by 10%.* Rodeo Queen Ruby™ is mined from the eastern foothills of the Rocky Mountains, near Cheyenne, Wyoming. The stone has a saturated pinkish-red color and is mostly opaque, making it an ideal choice for vintage styles and other custom jewelry designs. Ruby is the birthstone for July. Ruby, a variety of corundum classified as a precious stone, is one of the world's most valuable gemstones. With its hardness and durability, ruby is an excellent choice for all types of jewelry. The color of a ruby is due to a trace of chromium in the stone; the amount of this substance determines the depth of color. Through the ages, ruby has been considered to be a gem of nobility, credited with engendering sensuality and vitality. We are proud to offer the American Mined Collection, a growing selection of gemstones sourced from mines located here in America. These gemstones consistently present the excellent color, clarity and quality we look for in every stone we offer you. Each of these gemstones allows us to provide a clear, documentable path from the mine to you. You can be confident that every one is mined, cut and processed under conditions that meet all standards for worker safety, environmental protection and responsible production.
