Care & cleansingA brief rinse is fine, but amazonite can have fine internal fractures, so avoid soaking or scrubbing it, and keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight, which can gradually fade its color. Many people cleanse it with sound or a pass of smoke, then recharge it by resting it in indirect light or setting a quiet intention. Frequently asked questions What is an Amazonite Heart? It's a heart carved and polished from natural amazonite sourced in Madagascar, showing the stone's characteristic seafoam blue-green color, sometimes marbled with white. This is a decorative or symbolic piece, not a health product or medical device. Is it water-safe? A brief rinse is fine, but amazonite can have fine internal fractures, so avoid prolonged soaking or harsh scrubbing. Is it safe for daily handling or sunny display? Yes for daily handling, but prolonged direct sunlight can gradually fade amazonite's color over time, so a spot with indirect light is best for long-term display. How do I cleanse and charge it? Many people cleanse it with sound, a smoke pass, or a brief rinse, then recharge it by resting it in indirect light or setting a quiet intention. How can I tell it's genuine amazonite? Genuine amazonite shows a soft, slightly mottled blue-green with fine white veining or streaks and a gentle vitreous luster; a flat, uniform turquoise color with no veining can indicate dyed howlite or another imitation. What pairs well with it? It pairs naturally with rose quartz, agate, or jade for a calm, heart-centered display.
