Developed in partnership with Ecoarts Amazōnia, Vista Alegre's porcelain Amazonia pattern is inspired by naturalist Alexandre Rodrigues Ferreira's book "Viagens Philosophicas" as well as by the fauna, flora and people of today's Amazon. Part of the revenue from the award-winning collection will be channeled back into the reforestation of the Amazon's Mato Grosso area through the planting of native fruit trees, which will help preserve an environmental, cultural, social and scientific heritage that's crucial to the future of humankind. Founded in 1824 by José Ferreira Pinto Basto, Vista Alegre is a storied Portuguese brand celebrated for its expertly crafted glassware and ceramics. Handcrafted porcelain. Handpainted. Handmade in Portugal. 17" diameter x 3" high. Hand-wash. This item ships directly from the vendor within 4-6 weeks after placing your order. It is not eligible for express or next day shipping.
