Super Strength Amaretto FlavoringA typical 5-6 gallon batch uses 1-2 drams (0.125-0.25 oz), depending on the flavor and desired intensity. Add the flavor during kegging or bottling, starting with the lower amount and adjusting gradually to taste. Mix gently and sample before treating the entire batch. Flavor Profile and Beverage IdeasAmaretto delivers sweet almond, cherry-pit, vanilla, and light liqueur-like warmth. Use it in brown ale, porter, stout, strong ale, traditional mead, or dessert wine. A restrained addition can make dark fruit and caramel notes seem deeper. Cherry, coffee, chocolate, orange, vanilla, and oak are classic companions.
