Amaoto Solar Chime

Like a wind chime for the sun, Amaoto's gentle sounds and movements are triggered by light. Three slender metal rods topped with translucent crystals are balanced around a circular wooden frame. In darkness, the arms are still, and the chimes are silent. However, any strong light will bring the sculpture to life. Place the Amaoto Solar Chime in a window to hear when the sun is shining. The arms start swinging and the chimes begin to ring. The sound of this solar chime is subtle and sublime, like the pitter patter of a soft summer rain with a warm, pleasing tone.  A beautiful kinetic sculpture that sounds as good as it looks.
