Amanda is a super luxurious bed linen woven from the extremely rare Egyptian Extra Long Staple Cotton, Giza 45, with a super lightweight of 110 g/m². 'Giza' refers to the region along the majestic Nile where these exclusive cotton flowers are traditionally cultivated. The climate is perfect to grow this noble plant. The green delta of the Nile provides a natural irrigation of the cotton fields. The Giza 45-cotton is a "grand cru" amongst the cotton plants. The cotton flowers are handpicked with great care to respect the delicate flowers. Its' fibers are the longest, finest, but also the strongest, they approach perfection: this results in bed linens with a smooth, silky touch and durability. The longer the fiber, the smaller the diameter, the finer the yarn which can be spun: thereby creating super-resistant fabrics with an extremely high thread count, TC 1400 (350 TC 4Ply) in the case of Amanda.
