Amaka

“If you can talk you can sing, if you can walk you can dance.”-Unknown Swahili proverb  These words inspired a collection that rejoices in dance and the strength, beauty and grace of the African American woman. The color and movement is based on the African names of the dancers in each piece; Amaka means God is beautiful.  I hope that you enjoy The Jubilation Collection as much as I enjoyed creating it. 18 x 24 Giclee originally created by hand with cut-paper.  All art personally signed by the artist by exclusive arrangement with Ty Wilson.
