Don't need to worry about not having lights to illuminate objects as there are built in LED lighting that can be turned on or off depending of the situation. Connect the Dino-Lite Premier AM3111 to your computer via USB and use it with the included DinoCapture 2.0 software for PC's or DinoXcope software for Mac; allowing you to take pictures, record video, and also annotate with the software.
