The Salsbury 3500 series USPS approved 4B+ vertical mailboxes are made of aluminum and come in three (3) contemporary colors, aluminum, bronze, or sandstone. If you want a surface mounted or recessed mailbox, you can find it here. Vertical Mailbox Descriptions Surface mounted mailboxes of the 3500 series 4B+ are intended to be installed on flat surfaces. Recessed units fit into rough openings. They have both been manufactured in accordance with USPS-STD-4B+ standards. Extruded aluminum doors measure 5-1/2" wide x 16-1/4" high. There are two (2) keys included for each door, and a 2-1/2” W x 5/8” H indentation for a tenant's name and box number label (included). Each compartment is 6-3/4'' D.
