Aluminum Triformate (Aluminum Formate) is a cold water mordant used primarily for eco printing. It is a commercial product made by reacting Aluminum Hydroxide with Formic Acid. 4% wog dissolves easily in cold water and is used for all natural fibers. Testing at Earthues revealed that Aluminum Triformate results in lighter natural dye colors when used as a mordant for hot waster immersion dyeing.
