It slides into the open channel of the stationary receiving post on the latch side, creating a defined closing surface where the gate meets the post. The stopper is compatible with Alumission posts that have the matching channel, including the Aluminum Side Post, Aluminum Post 2 Channels, and Aluminum Post 3 Channel. It installs in the receiving post beside the gate; it does not attach to the moving gate frame. Use this stopper only for single swing gates. For the cleanest and most consistent closing edge, order or cut the stopper so its finished length matches the Side Post or other receiving post next to the gate.
