Alu-Cab | Full Size Contour Canopy

Alu-Cab Contour Canopy Built for those who don’t just drive their trucks — they live out of them. The Alu-Cab Contour Canopy is the toughest, most refined aluminum truck canopy on the market. Constructed from lightweight aluminum with precision-formed panels, the Contour delivers the strength of a commercial canopy without the weight penalty. Its modern design lines complement today’s trucks perfectly, while the all-aluminum body ensures corrosion resistance and long-term durability no matter where you travel. At Tiny Rig Co, we’ve installed countless Contours across builds ranging from Toyota Tundras, to Ford F150, Ram 1500 and mid-size trucks. Every one continues to impress us with its fit, finish, and functionality. Each canopy is engineered to integrate seamlessly with Alu-Cab accessories like the Standard 1250 mm Cupboard (Black), Ammo Box Slide, and Load Bars, giving you endless flexibility for roof racks, rooftop tents, and expedition gear mounting. Inside, the Contour features full-length side-access doors that make organizing your truck bed effortless — no crawling, no wasted space. The integrated T-slot channels throughout the canopy provide mounting options for everything from molle panels to custom 12V lighting setups, making it the perfect foundation for both work and overland canopy builds. Whether you’re building a lightweight overland rig or a heavy-duty work truck, the Alu-Cab Contour Canopy USA edition is the gold standard in off-road canopy systems — designed to handle abuse, look good doing it, and keep your gear secure through every mile. Our Thoughts: Alu-Cab vs. SmartCap RSI has done a great job getting their name out there — they’ve built a recognizable brand and made SmartCap easy to buy and install. But marketing and manufacturing aren’t the same thing. Alu-Cab has been building truck canopies for over 25 years, long before most of the overland industry even existed. Their designs are proven on global expeditions, from Africa to Alaska, and the difference in build philosophy shows. The SmartCap was designed for efficient shipping — that’s why it bolts together in panels. The Alu-Cab, on the other hand, was designed to be the best. It’s fully welded, every corner sealed from the factory, and it shows in real-world use. Just look up the leaking issues SmartCap owners have had — you won’t find those complaints with an Alu-Cab. Their welds don’t leak, their doors seal properly, and their fitment stays true even after years of off-road use. Vehicle Compatibility The Alu-Cab Contour Canopy is available for a wide range of full-size trucks and is precision-fit to each model: Ford F150 5.5 2015-2020 Ford F150 5.5 2021+  Ram 5.5 1500 2009+ Toyota Tundra 2022+ | 5.5 ( Short Bed) Toyota Tundra 2022+ | 6.5 ( Long Bed) Each Contour Canopy is engineered for vehicle-specific installation, ensuring a tight seal, proper alignment, and compatibility with factory and aftermarket accessories such as roof racks, load bars, and molle panels.
