1957-1959 Alternator Conversion Harness (External Regulator Altenator)-GM Truck

1957-1959 Alternator Conversion Harness (External Regulator Altenator) - GM Truck Converts Generator to B.I.R. Style The Importance of the Alternator Alternators do more than simply recharge a car’s battery. Your GM Truck battery will only provide enough power to operate the starter when starting it. While your truck is running, there are pulleys within the engine that rotates a belt connected to the alternator. This rotation causes coils inside of the alternator to generate power to replenish the battery. This battery charge then allows for the vehicle to operate including all the accessories and lights while in operation, plus provide enough charge for the next startup. Why You Need an Alternator Conversion Harness Having a working alternator is very important to the workings of your vehicle. When updating your GM Truck you may need to convert a few of the internal workings to ensure your truck runs properly. Use this convenient alternator conversion harness to adapt one style in place of another. This specific 1957-1959 Alternator Conversion Harness will update your GM Truck external regulator alternator to a modern B.I.R. style alternator harness. This easy conversion kit comes complete with instructions for easy installation.
