Alstroemeria psittacina 'Variegata', Peruvian Lily

One showy plant: variegated leaves and blood-red flowers brushed with white and green! It will flower best in full sun with regular water, but we have seen it used to great effect as a foliage plant in shade. Pictured with red blooms and bronze foliage of Seemannia (syn. Gloxinia) 'Little Red' Mature size: 30 in tall x 2.5 ft wide Minimum temperature: 0° F Please note: plants shipped after mid-April will most likely arrive with the foliage removed as it is too delicate to survive shipping.  The remaining tuberous roots will regenerate new growth once planted. We recommend planting Alstroemeria as early in the season as your growing conditions allow.  This provides time for the plants to establish mature root systems before winter.
