The rest of the leather is left plain, with dark stitches and a matching keeper. It's a subtle detail that gives the strap a slightly sportier look without covering it in a pattern. We made Alsice by hand in the USA using waxed linen thread and a polished stainless steel buckle. The dark stitching is kept small, so it doesn't compete with the perforations.
