ALPS Mountaineering Nomad RT 50 Backpack

The ALPS Mountaineering Nomad RT 50 is a roll-top internal frame backpack for backpackers who want one bag that flexes between a light weekend trip and a heavier multi-day haul. A roll-top design lets the main compartment expand from 40L up to 60L, so you’re not locked into one volume, and a generous zippered opening on the main compartment means you can load and unload gear without digging through a narrow top-loader. Dual aluminum frame stays and an air mesh-covered suspension keep the load stable and let air move through on a sweaty climb, while the pull-forward waist belt lets you cinch things down on the fly without rethreading straps. Roll-top closure expands pack volume from 40L to 60L, giving you room to grow the load on longer trips Lightweight 200D nylon double ripstop fabric resists tears and abrasion without adding bulk Dual aluminum frame stays support heavier loads and transfer weight to your hips instead of your shoulders Removable, padded waist belt with its own removable pockets keeps snacks and small essentials within reach Hydration compatible with ports on both sides plus a three-point reservoir attachment, so you can drink on the move from either strap Two stretch bottle pockets and extensive daisy chain webbing give you extra spots to lash on gear Side compression straps and load lifter straps let you cinch the load tight and keep it from bouncing Removable sternum straps and a pull-forward tightening waist belt fine-tune the fit while you’re on the trail Built-in rain cover stows in a zippered pocket on the bottom of the pack, ready the moment weather turns Fabric: 200D nylon double ripstop Capacity: 40 – 60L / 2,441 – 3,661 in³ Torso range: 15.5 – 20.5 in.
