Alpinestars Supertech R7 Solid Helmet (X-Small, Gloss Gray)

Gender: Mens/Unisex Helmet Category: Street Helmet Type: Full-face Helmets Market Color: Gloss Gray Primary Color: Gray Size: XS Engineered to perform on the track and the road. Lightweight outer shell features a carbon outer layer, an aramid fiber and a fiberglass layer. The fiberglass outer layer provides excellent strength and efficiency of energy dissipation over the shell. The uni-directional carbon composite layer provides significantly greater radial strength around the shell, preventing compression yet allowing controlled deflection for reducing transmitted impact energy. Inner shell is made in multi-density EPS material, to permit the required impact absorption properties exactly where they are required. There are seven different pieces, in six different densities and each piece is strategically positioned for maximum impact energy dissipation. Energy management performance is bolstered even further with the two Alpinestars Plasma collarbone sections. The EPS liner, just like the outer shell, has its own unique dimension for each helmet size. EPS surface itself is flush and equipped with Alpinestars specific coating for proven rotational impact protection. Aerodynamic profile design offers a smooth, streamlined shell free of any external channels. Delivers ultra-low levels of drag, superior aerodynamic stability at high speeds, and reduced strain on their neck. Equipped with an integrated road spoiler, devised using computer aided pressure visualization in a full scale wind tunnel further reduce turbulence and drag. Includes lateral winglets to further support the helmet's stability and improve aerodynamic drag. Features 10 ventilation ports in total for optimized airflow. The chin vent is formed by two openings located at the front of the helmet at the sides of the shield lock mechanism. There is also a third ventilation point, located in the middle of the chin area, just below the shield lock. Fitted with an ECE 22.06 homologated, optical Class 1 shield, with double-sided anti-scratch treatment. Shield varies in thickness from 1.6 mm on the sides to 2.6 mm in the center and is provided with pins to attach a Pinlock 120XLT 100% Max Vision lens. The shield mechanism is equipped with premium polymer locking lever to prevent unwanted shield detachment during impacts and/or crashes and this can be locked in the closed position via the frontal metal hook. The visor can be easily changed or removed thanks to its secure and tool-less quick-release system. Alpinestars A-Head system allows the helmet to be tuned exactly to the rider's preference by having the ability to adjust both the height and angle at which the helmet sits on the head. Engineered to be seamlessly integrated with A-Connect; Alpinestars Communications System that utilizes a second generation Harman Kardon Sound System with 40 mm speakers and advanced AI-based noise cancelling technology for the ultimate in aural pleasure. The following standards apply to this product: tested and certified to ECE 22.06 standards.
