AlphaShark - Bond Scarlet

AlphaShark — Bond Scarlet Double-Pass Seatbelt Nylon Watch Strap Built to Last The AlphaShark is built from ultra-durable, heavy duty seatbelt weave nylon — a 1.4mm thick, high-sheen weave cleanly stitched around the buckles for a refined finish that doesn't sacrifice strength. Why Double-Pass Is More Secure What makes a double-pass strap better than a single-pass strap is the extra layer of material under the watch case. The AlphaShark's double-pass construction uses a second, shorter piece of nylon that runs beneath the case in addition to the main strap - so there are two layers of webbing between the spring bars and your wrist instead of one. A single-pass strap uses just one continuous strip of material running underneath the case. Both styles are pass-through designs, meaning the strap itself wraps under the watch case rather than attaching as two separate pieces. That's what makes pass-through straps - single-pass or double-pass - more secure than a two-piece strap: if a spring bar fails, the strap stays in place and keeps the watch on your wrist, since it isn't relying on the spring bars to hold two separate halves together. Bond Scarlet Bond Scarlet is a black with red stripes pattern, making it a bold, high-contrast take on the classic Bond pattern with vivid red stripes.  What Makes AlphaShark Different What sets the AlphaShark apart from standard seatbelt nylon straps is the nylon itself. The 1.4mm weave is noticeably thicker and more durable than standard nylon straps, while still finishing with a higher sheen and softer hand-feel than typical nylon webbing. It breaks in over time, becoming more supple with wear without losing structure. Each strap is finished with a stainless steel buckle and one fixed, one adjustable keeper to tuck the strap tail securely in place.
