Dr. Lara Devgan Alpha Beta Hydroxy Pads

Product Overview Dr. Lara Devgan Alpha Beta Hydroxy Pads are pre-saturated exfoliating pads formulated with 5% glycolic acid, 5% lactic acid, and 2% salicylic acid. The blend combines surface exfoliation with oil-soluble pore clarification in one leave-on step. Regular use helps remove accumulated surface cells, refine the look of uneven texture, and keep congested or blemish-prone skin looking clearer. A botanical complex is included to help balance the feel of the concentrated acid formula. Recommended For Oily, combination, congested, or blemish-prone skin. Visible pores, uneven texture, and dull surface buildup. Experienced acid users seeking a convenient leave-on exfoliating step. Sensitive or acid-naive skin should introduce the pads gradually and avoid combining them with other strong exfoliants in the same routine. Texture and Experience Each textured pad is pre-saturated with a lightweight leave-on acid solution. The skin may feel freshly cleansed and lightly tingly after application. Key Ingredients Glycolic Acid 5%: An alpha hydroxy acid that exfoliates accumulated surface cells and helps smooth visible texture. Lactic Acid 5%: An alpha hydroxy acid that supports exfoliation while helping maintain a conditioned skin feel. Salicylic Acid 2%: An oil-soluble beta hydroxy acid that helps clarify congested pores. Botanical Complex: Yeast, horse chestnut, licorice, olive, ivy, burdock, and clary sage extracts help soothe the feel of blemish-prone skin. Conscious Formula Dr. Lara Devgan Scientific Beauty does not publish additional formula certifications for this product, so none are claimed here. The current ingredient list is shown in the Ingredients tab above and on the packaging. Available Size 60 pre-saturated pads. Safety Information These are cosmetic leave-on exfoliating pads for external use on the face. Use one pad on dry, cleansed skin, keep it away from the eyes and lips, and do not rinse. Because the formula stays on the skin, daily sunscreen matters while you are using it. Introduce the pads gradually, keep the rest of the routine simple on the evenings you use them, and stop temporarily if persistent stinging, peeling, or irritation develops. Not recommended for: Broken, raw, sunburned, or visibly irritated skin. The same routine as another strong exfoliant, or the days immediately around an in-studio exfoliating service. Anyone with a known sensitivity to an ingredient listed on the packaging. Use on the eyelids, the lips, or other mucous membranes. Frequently Asked Questions How often should I use them? Start with occasional evenings spaced a few days apart, then increase only while the skin stays comfortable. Daily use suits experienced acid users rather than someone new to exfoliating acids. Do I rinse the pads off? No. The solution is meant to stay on the skin, so wipe, let it dry, and continue with hydrating serums and moisturizer. Can I use them on the same evening as a retinal serum? It is easier on the skin to alternate evenings. If your routine already includes Retinal Bakuchiol Serum 5x or another strong exfoliant, keep those on separate nights. Do I really need sunscreen with them? Yes. Wear sunscreen every morning while you are using exfoliating acids, for example SPF 44 BB Cream as the last daytime step. How do they compare with an in-studio peel? The pads are the at-home maintenance step between appointments; a service such as a VI Peel or dermaplaning is performed by an esthetician. Pause the pads around those appointments and follow the aftercare your provider gives you. Pairs Well With Advanced Lauric Acid Cleanser: the first step, since the pads go onto clean, fully dry skin. Advanced Recovery Cream: the comforting moisturizer to apply after the pads have dried. SPF 44 BB Cream: daily sun protection, which belongs in every routine that includes acids.
