Alpha 3/2 Reverse Twinzer - Carbon/Red

Futures Alpha 3/2 Reverse Twinzer The Alpha Reverse 3/2 Twinzer is designed to surf your favorite twinzer board at full throttle. The 4-fin set features the Futures Alpha Reverse 3/2 Twin fins paired with the Futures Alpha TW1 canard pair.  Construction - Alpha Speed Generating Suggested Wave Type - All types | All conditions TW1 canard fins set at 9.0 degree base angle *The TW1 canard fins feature the Futures proprietary twinzer fin base that will only fit in the Futures Twinzer fin box* The “Reverse 3/2” refers to the twist in the foil of the larger twin fins, through the top third of the fin, that adds an additional 3 degrees of cant and 2 degrees less toe. The Reverse aspect is that the toe angle straightens only in the tip. This creates two separate foil surfaces, one at the base of the fin and one at the tip, that both feature Future’s proprietary Vector foil. This unique foil keeps the fin engaged on rail, creating tons of drive, speed and grip. Pedal to the metal! Cant at the side fin base is 4 degrees, transitioning to 7 degrees at the tip = looser. Toe at the side fin base is in respect to the box placement, transitioning to 2 degrees less at the tip = tight, engaged. Vector Foil = Speed Generating and locked in feel. Scimitar Tip = Enhanced pivot and release. Made in Huntington Beach, the Alpha construction combines Bureo’s NetPlus recycled fishing nets with Futures’ Compound 6 (C6) carbon and air infused technology. WHAT IS A VECTOR FOIL It is a proprietary Futures foil with a concave surface on the inside of the front fins, increasing surface area, water attachment, and lift. WHAT IS A 3/2 REVERSE 3/2 REVERSE complements the Vector foil with an extra 3 degrees of cant and 2 degrees of outward toe towards the rail, creating a twist to the foil that keeps the fin engaged through turns. PERFORMANCE BENEFITS OF THE VECTOR REVERSE 3/2 The Vector Reverse 3/2 is a Speed Generating fin, maximizing water attachment over multiple planning surfaces, resulting in lift and hold. This unique foil keeps the fin engaged as you progress through your turns, creating tons of speed as you exit your turn. BENEFITS OF THE SCIMITAR TIP Originally developed in 2006, The Scimitar Tip is flattened edge at the fin's trailing end, tightens the turn arc by reducing the template's length. This complements the Reverse 3/2 foil's lift and speed design, enhancing the feeling of release from turns while maximizing the foil properties throughout the fin's template. CANT Cant at the side fin base is 4 degrees, transitioning to 7 degrees at the tip = looser. TOE Toe at the side fin base is in respect to the box placement, transitioning to 2 degrees less at the tip = tight, engaged.   Side Fins Canard Fin Area 19.69 7.20 Height 5.14 3.19 Base 4.60 2.75 Angle 4.0 9.0 Foil 3/2 FLAT
