Aloe 'Rising Moon'

Description Aloe 'Rising Moon' Care Guide FAQ/Common Issues   Aloe 'Rising Moon' is a succulent hybrid known for its resilience and appearance. Originating from arid regions, it grows well in dry, sunny conditions and adapts well to indoor environments.   'Rising Moon' features rosettes of thick, fleshy leaves with deep green and creamy-yellow variegation. The leaves are edged with subtle serrations and develop a slight blush in full sun. It grows upright, forming a compact rosette shape.   This plant occasionally produces small, tubular flowers on tall stalks, typically in shades of coral or orange. The blooms appear in late spring to early summer, adding a seasonal highlight to its already eye-catching foliage.   'Rising Moon' can move outside for summer but needs protection from rain. It shows slight wilting when the soil is dry, making it easy to gauge watering needs. Keep it on a high shelf to prevent accidental ingestion by pets or toddlers.   Aloe 'Rising Moon' grows well in bright indirect light but can scorch in direct south-facing windows.   Water it every 10-14 days, letting the soil dry completely between sessions.   'Rising Moon' does best in a well-draining cactus or succulent mix.   It prefers temperatures between 65-80°F and can tolerate dry, heated air.   'Rising Moon' is a slow grower and rarely needs fertilizer.   It is hardy in USDA zones 9-11.
