Aloe "Delta Lights" - 4in

Aloe 'Delta Lights' is a hybrid succulent created by Kelly Griffin, using the genetics of Aloe deltoideodonta. Its compact rosettes reach up to 18 inches in height and 24 inches in width, showcasing dark green leaves adorned with creamy yellow to pale green zigzag patterns that may develop a pinkish blush under strong light. This plant produces offsets readily and blooms from fall through spring with dark reddish-orange tubular flowers on branched inflorescences, adding seasonal interest. Originally introduced in 2011, 'Delta Lights' gained popularity for its unique foliage but saw reduced production after 2022 due to sensitivity to prolonged wet conditions. Thriving in USDA zones 10a to 11b, it requires light shade or morning sun in hot inland areas, tolerates coastal sun, and needs well-draining soil to prevent root rot. Minimal watering is essential, particularly in winter, and it performs well in containers with proper drainage. Hardy to 25–30°F, it prefers regions with mild winters. Ideal for arid and Mediterranean-style gardens, 'Delta Lights' serves as a dramatic focal point in containers, rock gardens, or mixed plantings, offering year-round visual appeal and low-maintenance care. This plant has been grown in a 4" pot. You will receive a very similar plant to the one in the picture. The plant is shipped "dry-root" (with out soil).
