Almost There Tee

Every trail has that one stretch where the destination keeps moving. The rider swears it's just over the next rise. The mule has heard this song before, and he's done listening. If You Say Almost There One More Time... Sitting down mid-pull is a mule's way of filing a formal complaint. No kicking, no braying, just a quiet refusal and a look that says the next hopeful lie will cost you the whole afternoon. Hand-drawn woodcut art of a mule planted firm in the dirt, rope taut, patience gone.
