Take off the burner and add 1 heaping tablespoon of tea. Add 1/4 to 1/3 cup of sugar (depending on your preferred sweetness). Let stand for 10-15 minutes. Fill a 1/2 gallon (2 quart) pitcher with ice. Put a strainer on the top and pour the tea over the ice. Fill to the top with cold water. She said she loves the Almond Sugar Cookie iced this way as well as green teas with passion fruit nectar.
