Alma Wall Light - Dimmer

The Original BTC Alma Wall Light with Dimmer elevates the celebrated collaboration between Original BTC and Swedish designer Beata Heuman by adding integrated dimming control that enhances the magical starlight effect created by 41 meticulously hand-pierced holes. This sophisticated fixture combines mid-century Scandinavian design sensibility with practical British engineering, featuring a flexible brass gooseneck arm that adjusts perfectly for reading while the built-in dimmer allows precise control of the celestial lighting effect. Available in three distinctive hand-painted colourways—seaweed, natural, and coral—each inspired by bone china's "almost ethereal quality." Whether positioned beside beds where the dimmer provides customizable bedside lighting from bright task illumination to gentle ambient glow, mounted in living areas where adjustable brightness complements different moods, or used in modern spaces where the collaboration's unique character shines at any intensity, the Alma with Dimmer delivers both exceptional functionality and artistic sophistication with unprecedented control. This wall light represents one of Original BTC's most labor-intensive creations enhanced with convenient dimming technology. The traditional Stoke-on-Trent bone china manufacturing showcases Beata Heuman's innovative piercing technique, where each of the 41 holes is carefully hand-made to create the signature constellation pattern that dances across walls. The integrated dimmer switch provides seamless brightness control without requiring separate wall dimmers. Brass and steel construction ensures lasting durability while hand-painted finishes add unique character. E26 compatibility supports various bulb options, and UL listing ensures safe North American installation. Original BTC, established in 1990 by Peter Bowles, collaborates with visionary designers like Beata Heuman to create lighting that pushes design boundaries while maintaining commitment to quality and practical innovation. The Alma Wall Light with Dimmer reflects this partnership's success in combining traditional British manufacturing with contemporary Scandinavian aesthetics and modern convenience features. Through this collaboration and attention to both artistic expression and user experience, Original BTC helps create interiors that celebrate heritage craftsmanship and thoughtful design while delivering lighting that enhances daily life with customizable celestial beauty and precise illumination control.
