Alma Floor Light

The Original BTC Alma Floor Light brings that perfect fusion of Scandinavian elegance and British pottery mastery that transforms any room into something truly special. This collaboration between Original BTC and Swedish interior designer Beata Heuman isn't just another floor lamp - the hand-pierced bone china shade features 41 carefully made holes that create a magical starlight effect when illuminated. The ethereal quality of the translucent bone china combined with the warm glow filtering through each perforation makes this piece feel more like sculptural art than functional lighting. Whether positioned between seating areas or anchoring a reading corner, the Alma delivers ambient illumination that enhances the entire atmosphere of your space. What makes this floor light exceptional is the meticulous attention to detail in both design and construction. The adjustable brass arms allow you to position the light exactly where needed, while the four brass ball feet ensure stability on any surface while lending an air of lightness to the overall design. Available in three sophisticated colorways - natural, coral, and seaweed - each finish is hand-painted and crafted using traditional methods at Original BTC's Stoke-on-Trent pottery. The brass disc behind the bulb beautifully reflects light, creating layers of illumination that make rooms feel more dynamic and inviting. The unlacquered brass elements will develop a unique patina over time, making each piece increasingly personal to your home. Original BTC approaches collaborative design from their heritage of British craftsmanship excellence, partnering with visionary designers like Beata Heuman who share their commitment to quality and innovation. Working from one of the few remaining ceramic factories in Stoke-on-Trent, they understand that exceptional lighting should merge functional excellence with artistic expression. Their philosophy centers on creating fixtures that enhance daily living through both beautiful illumination and visual pleasure, which is why the Alma collection represents the kind of investment piece that becomes more meaningful to your space over time rather than just another lighting solution.
