AllPro - Weight Forward Sink tip Fly Lines 5wt.

The AllPro Fly Line offers a number of features that help get your fly down fast and keep it there as you retrieve line. The ability to fish a wide range of depths—down to around 25 feet—gives anglers versatility, making it easier to target fish at various depths without needing to switch lines. The denser construction of these lines is key for achieving quick sink rates, which allows you to retrieve your fly rapidly while keeping it at the desired depth. The AllPro sinking lines are particularly effective when you're targeting fish that tend to hang out in deeper water or during situations where you need to get the fly down quickly, such as in fast-moving currents or when fishing for species that are holding in deep water or mid-water columns. The quick retrieval, paired with the line's ability to maintain depth, helps you avoid the line rising too quickly to the surface and keeps the fly in the strike zone longer. The choice of a slightly longer sinking head on the AllPro fly line is a feature that addresses an important aspect of fly retrieval: maintaining depth control. By increasing the length of the sinking head, the line helps to counteract the common issue with shorter heads, where the angle of the retrieve has a more noticeable impact on how deep the fly stays. With a longer sinking head, the line has more time to sink and remains in the strike zone longer, even during quick or varied retrieves. This extra length gives you more control over the fly’s depth, ensuring it stays within the optimal range for longer, regardless of how fast or at what angle you're retrieving. This is particularly useful in situations where fish are deep or in currents, where a fly that rises too quickly can move out of the strike zone before the fish has a chance to take it. We’ve chosen 100% recyclable packaging for our lines. There’s no plastic – just a simple, eco-friendly cardboard envelope that can be used to store lines or easily recycled when you’re done. When fishing a sinking tip line the two-tone color design of the AllPro fly line provides a visual cue that can be especially helpful in situations where judging distance is important, allowing you to gauge the length of your cast without needing to focus too much. It’s also beneficial for improving casting consistency, as you can establish a reference point each time you cast.
