AllPro - Double Taper Floating Fly Lines 5wt.

The AllPro Double Taper fly line is an ideal choice for anglers using slower action rods, such as bamboo, fiberglass, or classic action graphite. These types of rods often have a more relaxed, progressive flex, so a line with a double taper—designed for delicacy—helps improve casting accuracy and finesse, especially in situations that demand a light touch, like when casting on spring creeks or smaller streams. The double taper design is particularly well-suited for short to medium-range casting, as it offers a smooth, controlled presentation of the fly, minimizing the chance of spooking fish with erratic line movements. The line tapers gently at both ends, creating a soft roll and gentle turnover, which is essential for delicate dry fly presentations. In addition to its ability to delicately present dry flies, a double taper line is often favored for its ability to handle close-range casts with precision, making it ideal for fishing in tight quarters where accuracy and lightness are key. The AllPro Double Taper, in particular, would excel in situations that require that extra level of grace, like on spring creeks where fish can be more wary of clumsy presentations. If you're fishing in an environment that demands accuracy and subtlety, the AllPro double taper is the way to go.     We’ve chosen 100% recyclable packaging for our lines.
