Peony 6 pc Stencil kit

Love our Peony Allover stencil but want more flexibility with placement? This beautiful Peony stencil kit contains 6 different peony stencils which allows you to scale your repeat. Bigger walls - spread them out a little more. Below a chair rail - tighten them up. Lots of possibilities with just one stencil kit. Don't forget to stencil a pillow or two! Please note: these peonies are larger scale than the ones in our Allover Peony pattern. For great stenciling tips please refer to our How-To stencil section. You can stencil with acrylic or latex paint, stencil creams, fabric paint or glaze. Use a foam roller or stencil brush. Usually it is not necessary to use spray adhesive with our stencils, however if you want very crisp edges or are using high contrasting colors, please use it (Elmer's spray adhesive seems to be the best). The trick with stenciling is to take care not to over-load your roller or brush with paint and not to press too hard on a roller while stenciling. I personally prefer just to use blue painter's tape to secure the stencil, but for beginners I would recommend using spray adhesive just to make sure you get great results. The stencils are made out of durable 12 mil clear plastic stencil material. This material is strong but flexible, reusable and easy to clean. We love it so much more than standard 8 mil Mylar! It's not brittle, user friendly and just so easy to work with. In our many years of professional stenciling this material has proven to be far superior than any other stencil material we used. Our customers love it too, and we are sure that you'll notice the difference! Our stencils will last a long time and are a pleasure to use. Our professional decorative painting company, SpecFin Designs, has been a leader in decorative and faux painting for over 20 years in NYC/NJ Metropolitan area. After many years of painting we finally decided to open a stencil company and start selling our stencils to other artists and craftsmen.
