Allium Millenium

Allium Millenium is one of the best flowering ornamental onions available today. This hybrid cultivar flowers in the summer rather than spring-like its other ornamental onion relatives. This is a great way to extend the bloom time of alliums in the garden. Allium millennium blooms in mid-summer and produces large globes of rose-pink flowers. As the plants mature, they will have dozens of flowers that look like pink orbs floating through the garden. Allium Millenium is a clump former so expect the clumps to increase in size year after year. Allium Millenium was voted the 2018 perennial plant of the year by the perennial plant association.
