Alligator Shoes Hosta

(Mature Size: 15"T x 36"W)  Hosta 'Alligator Shoes' is aptly named due to its heavily corrugated leaves giving them a tough look like alligator skin.    This hosta produces wedge-shaped frosty blue-green leaves with yellow margins in spring. In summer the leaves are grey-green with creamy-white margins.  Can handle a fair amount of sun but best color is in filtered shade. Registered as being 24"T x 52"W at maturity but most clumps we have seen are a medium size. Pale lavender flowers appear mid to late summer. Why Should I Grow It? Attractive mound of corrugated blue-green foliage with cream margins. (H. Benedict/H. Hatfield 2009) Medium Hosta Cultivar [H.
