OS Giken clutches are made to very tight tolerances and that is the reason why we offer separately forged billet center alignment tools. A forged metal tool eliminates the slack commonly found in plastic center alignment tools. These tools imitate the transmission input shaft to provide a tight fitment to the pilot bushing/bearing to prevent sag which is often found when installing multi-plate clutches. This procedure is very important as misaligned clutch plates can lead to difficulty during installation of the transmission.
