Alien 2 (1980)

A couple along with six of their friends plan a weekend of exploring some underground caves in the California wilderness.  As they drive out of the city, the news is reporting that a space capsule returning from space has crash landed in the ocean and it's crew are missing. While taking a break at a road stop, one of the cavers finds a strange blue football sized rock and gives it to the psychic member of the group.  Once they are deep down in the caves, the rock begins to pulse and suddenly bursts open to attack one of the explorers.  With the alien on the loose and realizing they are trapped in the lower levels of the cave, the cavers must use all their experience to find a way out and survive.
