The Alicia bag is an elegant and versatile tote with four coiled short handles, handmade in the region of Oaxaca in Mexico. The bag is made weaving plastic strips on a wooden frame. Artisans sit on a small bench for hours, to be in the perfect position to weave each piece. Part of the process is made by Oaxaca inmates, as an active reinsertion program.
