Backstory / HistoryThe ALICE trauma kit is a critical piece of the infantryman's load — the first aid and combat lifesaver equipment that every soldier hopes never to need and trains constantly to use. Mounted on the ALICE belt and harness system alongside ammunition pouches and canteens, the trauma kit contains the immediate care essentials: field dressings, tourniquet, hemostatic agents, and airway management tools. The medic or combat lifesaver who carries a well-stocked trauma kit is one of the most valuable members of any patrol element. An essential detail piece for any Vietnam, Cold War, or early GWOT build featuring a medic, corpsman, or combat lifesaver figure.
